KITCHEN SERVING MEALS
OPEN DAILY 10am to 11:30am
Our staff and regular volunteers prep and serve a wonderful, hearty meal
once each day. Our Kitchen is pleased to be serving the community 364 days a year (only closed on Thanksgiving)!
We are blessed by the donations of their time as well as the ongoing generosity of various local businesses and organizations.
We also welcome church and older school and college age students looking to offer service to the community.

LOAVES & FISHES PANTRY
OPEN MONDAY & FRIDAY, 9am to 11am
Born out of our former Project 5000, our new self-serve food pantry has items not available from other food sources, such as peanut butter & jelly as well as produce. The store design (where clients are able to pick the foods they like) cuts down on waste and keeps to our mission which is to provide for the nutritional needs of the poor and needy of our community in the context of compassion and affirmation of their human worth as children of God.
SHOP FREE TWICE A MONTH FOR FRESH PRODUCE & OTHER FOOD ITEMS
We welcome and serve everyone for a first visit. To be an ongoing guest / user of the pantry, you must be a resident of Manatee County and have proper ID. Just ask if you have questions!
We served over 20,000 people through this program in 2018.
No one is turned away, but in many instances, relief is only partial.
Many need more than food.
